You don’t need to spend your precious student loan money on dodgy performance-enhancing supplements; you can find every healthy snack you need quickly and affordably.

Students are famous for their poor diets, but it doesn’t have to be this way, and with the move to all-online or hybrid learning taking place at colleges and universities around the world, it is actually a great time to take a closer look at what you’re snacking on, and make adjustments to make you smarter — not to mention healthier — in the process.

Easy snacks for developing brains:

Eggs — they might not make you popular with your dorm buddies, but eggs are full of both protein and vital nutrients that your brain loves! They’re very affordable too, so there’s no reason not to have eggs fried or scrambled on some seeded bread each day that you’re studying.

Greek Yoghurt — people are often very wrong in what they think about fat. Fat can be healthy and helpful to the brain if it comes from the right places, such as an avocado or yoghurt. Add it to some slow-releasing-energy-boosting oats and you’re setting yourself up for a good day of studying in which your brain is more capable of sending and receiving information.
